Your Deposit ID is the eight(8)-digit number on the Payment Instruction section of your Conditional Offer. Please include all zeros at the beginning of the number.






Undergraduate Housing
Undergraduate students must live in Global managed housing for their first two semesters. 

Global offers housing options which are assigned based on payment and availability. Submitting your preferences and making your Global payment early can improve your chances of getting your preferred housing standard, but is not guaranteed.
  • Apartments are walking distance from campus and require no housing deposit, co-signer, or federal identification number
  • Apartments are fully furnished and have kitchens. You can expect amenities such as bed linens, pillow, shower curtain, kitchen set, pots/pans, utensils, and plates
  • All utilities are included (water, sewer, electric, trash, and WiFi) 
  • Our Global Residents are available to assist and support with your housing needs
Housing Options

All students are placed in a shared apartment (2 bedrooms/2 baths – 4 people maximum), currently on your statement of fees.

If you select an upgraded room or apartment style, the increased charges will be placed on your statement of fees and can’t be removed once applied.

All students are billed for the 2 people sharing 1 bedroom, 2 MAX on their statement of fee. Your statement of fee will be updated once housing assignments are confirmed.
Please note that while your housing preferences will be considered, they are not guaranteed. Submitting your full payment before the deadline may improve your chances, as housing assignments are based on payment completion.

Final housing placements will be communicated during the arrival process. Please note that housing prices are subject to change.

Graduate Housing
Graduate students are not required to stay in Global managed housing, but they may opt into Global managed housing, with placement depending on students’ timely payments and first-come, first-served availability.

Let us know if you wish to secure your own lease prior to arrival or prefer to stay in a Global apartment. Please note that charges for Global apartments, once selected, will be added to your statement of fee.

Personal Property Insurance

As part of your check-in and housing assignment process, we offer you the opportunity to enroll in Personal Property Insurance for the protection and peace of mind of your personal items. 

What Is Personal Property Insurance? 

Personal Property Insurance provides coverage for your personal belongings in the event of theft, fire, water damage, or certain other unexpected events. This coverage is strongly recommended to protect valuable items such as: 
  • Electronics (laptops, phones, tablets) 
  • Clothing and accessories 
  • Furniture 
  • Bicycles or scooters 
  • Other personal property 
Cost 
  • $100.00 USD (coverage for two semesters when you opt in) 
  • Coverage begins when payment for personal property is received

Dining
To supplement cooking in your apartment, meal plans are required for all students who opt in to CSU Global Housing. (Meal plans are not available for the summer semester and will not be charged on the statement of fees.)

Undergraduate Weekly 5
5 meals per week and $500 dining dollars per semester (weekly meals do not roll over to the next week)

Graduate Dining Dollar Plan
Meal plans are required for those graduate students living in Global apartments. Students will be charged $1,000 dining dollars for the semester, dollars can be rolled over from Fall to Spring term only. The plan allows you to eat at a 11 different locations on campus, shop at the campus microstore, and make purchases in the bookstore.
Optional Add-On: Shorelight’s Off-Campus Meal Plan
Shorelight’s Off-Campus Meal Plan allows you to access a wide range of familiar and culturally relevant foods to meet your dietary requirements, delivered to your home by Grubhub.  The plan includes a complimentary 12-month Grubhub+ membership ($120 value) and activation.  The Off-Campus Meal Plan functions like a food wallet.  Funds are pre-loaded, ready for use upon arrival, available for 17 weeks, and unused funds do not roll over.  A personal bank card can cover any purchases exceeding the allowance.

Amazing careers start during university! Virtual internships and trainings kickstart your strong future. 

An add-on to Shorelight’s Career Services, Career Premium enables international students to take additional courses that lead to certificates, attend exclusive training workshops, and apply for virtual internship opportunities. Take training courses that lead to certification in Amazon Web Services, Java, Microsoft Azure, and Python, among other in-demand programs. Explore entry-level work in banking, business analytics, data science, digital marketing, finance, gaming, venture capital, and more growing industries. Develop industry-specific skills and cultural competencies,
grow your professional network, and be mentored by experts. Plus, international students remain eligible for the full duration of Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT) after completing Career Premium.

All students are responsible for paying the full balances shown on their final statements of fees as a condition of course registration and continued enrollment.
